what is going on in China and New York that this image has been viewed over a hundred times in the past two days?

I have them scanned professionally at a Graphics company...I do not even own a scanner myself. They found if not careful too much light comes through and it washes out the color. Will keep working at it.

Have you tried placing a light behind the painting and then taking the photograph? It seems to me that the beauty of glass comes from the light comming through it.

I must admit this piece looks much better in real Life...one of the problems I run into with paintings on glass...they don't always scan that well. I enjoyed the contest and was glad that the best painting won by a large margin and that 2 of my other favorites came out in the top six. Tied for 7th in good company.
