this is the second of two portraits commissioned by Meryll Panthar.......... a truly remarkable, talented and beautiful young lady........ I have long envisioned a topless portrait by the fireplace but never had the right subject or best pose before.................... this time I could not resist the temptation to paint this scene................... I feel it is one of the best portraits I have ever done and I'm grateful I finished it before the year was over............................
