When Davis Tutt called out Wild Bill Hickok and took a shot at him, in Springfield, MO, on July 21, 1865 he made a terrible mistake. Bill put a bullet into Tutt's chest from 75 feet away and thus began his reputation. Self-defense was the verdict. (2017)

Super artwork Love your style. I've heard most gunfights in the old west were at very close range, so 75 feet is impressive shooting.
Phil Strang replied:
thank you Carol. I went down to Springfield, MO this summer to check out the city square where the shooting took place.
