Description
Further experimentation with the acrylic paints that Janelle Monae left behind at the auditorium where I work................................I bought 5 canvases on sale and one of them was black..................................I got out the orange and blue acrylic paints and decided on a basic theory of what I wanted to create................................ Three strokes with the large brush in orange and some splatter with a small brush......................................Followed with some splatter of the blue............................Perhaps too subtle for some but I wanted the contrast with the bold of the orange..............................I love the illusion of randomness in my abstracts, though there is much thought and passion that goes into the planning and the execution.............................................The trick is not to throw my arm out in the process....................Many more to come this summer as I develop the concept further.......................My garage floor may end up as a work of art in it's own right......................................
