Description
in the Pampas of Argentina is the member of the wolf family that looks like a fox on stilts.......................or a fox with deer legs............................. The male wolves have darker markings and ruffled fur with somewhat resembles a mane...............there is also some similarities to the Tasmanian wolf..................................I worked from a photo as I have never seen one of these in real life.........................not even in a zoo........................I figure the long legs are so they can see over the tall grass in the Pampas and they can run fast enough to catch their prey..........................Someday I may get down to Argentina to see one.......................meanwhile this view will have to do............(October 2014)
